Upgrading an Item
While crafting may require a lot of materials, upgrading a weapon provides better stats while requiring less materials. While at the Iron claw, click on the upgrade tab to upgrade your weapon.

Just as in crafting if you hover over the item, you will see the amount of times you have upgraded the item, the base damage it has, the level required to add it to your adventurer and a note on the weapon.

If you click on the item, you can also see the above information, along with current base stats and substats on the item. Also, you will see that it takes only one ingredient to upgrade and gold. (These ingredients can be found by mining or fighting in the dungeon.)

After crafting you will see that additional base stats where added. Even though you previous base stats are not shown, you did not lose those stats. Also, you can see that you have been awarded new substates, and the upgrade line has changed to 1 since the crafting upgrade.

Once your item has been upgraded to the maximum level, you will see that the ingredients required have disappeared and your craft button is no longer available.
